Year of birth is 1991. There was a ceremony on June 21, 1991, in which Joel was given to his adoptive parents by me. Rather than turning Joel over to the agency's foster family, I took care of Joel for all of the time before he went to his new home. I chose a Quaker family for Joel so that he could be raised to be a peaceful Christian person and never have to go to war when he was grown.
