Other Information The birth mother is Mormon and has American indian ancestors. She exchanged letters with the adoptive mother after the adoption. She stated she would be willing to reunited if the child wanted to. She initially took the baby home after the birth but then changed her mind. The birth father was in the military at Fort Lewis. They had planned to marry until the father backed out when she was eight months along. The delivery was very difficult as was giving up her son.
