| Looking for the family of my great-aunt, born sometime between the June 1900 census and November 4, 1901, death date of her mother due to "congestion of brain". My uncle thought he remembered her name as being Ruth. Our great-grandfather's family (Charley Youngqist and his sister Alma Johnson)and her adopted family visited each other after the adoption, but my grandfather (her older brother, Carl Aron Youngquist) was not allowed to tell her he was related. We think she found out she was adopted when she was a little older, but our family lost contact with her with the death of my grandfather in 1945. Her children, if any, and my mother would be first cousins. |
