Brothers one adopted brother. I have two brothers or sisters or whatever that are half-brothers or sisters from my birth mother.
Military no
Other Info I was born at the Gotham Hosp;ital in New York City and almost immediately handed over to my adopted parents. My mother, "Jane Allen," a Jewish dance student from the south, had come to New York to stay with the delivery doctor, Dr. Anna Kleegman Daniels, since the father had abandoned her. He was a Harvard law student, Jewish, son of a prominent NY lawyer . Apparantly they met at a party. My mother was 23 and told her grandmother, with whom she lived, that she was "Changing schools." She married and had three other children and stayed in New York, but I never knew that.

Other Information "Jane Allen," which I think was a fake name, was a Jewish dance student from the south, who got pregnant by a Jewish Harvard law student, son of a NY attorney. She was orphaned and living with her grandmother, but lied and said she was changing schools and went to NY to have me. She stayed with the delivery doctor. Dr. Anna Kleegman Daniels, and had me on May 7, 1939 at Gotham Hospital in Manhatten. At the time of the adoption, she was living at the Hotel Endicott. She was 23.
