Other Information 1-17-00 My name is Sarah Lucky, and I am not adopted. I am here on behalf of my mother, looking for her birth parents. The only information that we have to go on is that she was born in San Diego, on July 4th, 1960. Her adoptive parents were in the Navy. Hilda Ward is Australian and was a nurse in the war, her late husband Leonard was a soldier on the submarines. From what we know, there are only three hospitals in San Diego. It is a possibility it could have been a hospital on a military base where she was born. However, she's been told the hospital burned down and the records went with it.
