Other Information I am searching for my adopted sister. She was born on or about Jan. 08,1952 or 1953 in Moline, ILL. at the old Moline Public Hospital. The adoption was done by Dr. Carl Weissmann and the Catholic Social services. The only information we have is baby girl DeBates. Our Mom was named Elsie Helen DeBates. She was 6' tall - auburn hair - hazel eyes. About 2 years ago a lady phoned my brother asking for Helen DeBates. My Mom passed away in 1962. My brother didn't connect the call with our Mom's middle name. He wasn't thinking I suppose. He said he didn't know her. So we think she is looking for us too. This is all we have to go on.
