According to all information supplied to me, by my BM's family, my father's last name is McDowell, and he was a Sgt. in the United States Army,being discharged late in 1952. He was aware of my pending birth, but was engaged to marry another woman, and felt he had to honor that committment. However, since finding my BM's family I have found out the many disturbing details leading up to my birth,most of which concern my BF. It is very, very important anyone recognizing this info, email me. I have no first name, or SS#, but I do have many pictures of him. Pictures my mother HID from her family and friends. 1952 was not a good year to be an "unwedded" mother, that was for sure.
