Marie's father was hurt in WWI and had part of his leg amputated. She is or was the oldest of all the children. Her father and Uncle Sylvester worked at the GE in Erie and Cleveland at the time of my birth. It is my understanding that her father lost his job at the GE because of a drinking problem. There could also be a problem in the family with Chrohn's Disease because my daughter has it and she didn't get from her father's side of the family. I also know that she gave up two children who are older then me, one of which I know to be a girl. |
