I believe my grandmother was three years old, when John and Joannah Hettie, Jenson, Johnson, or Flettre, got her. Her Social Secerity application said, MOTHER: CHRISTINE JOHNSON and FATHER: LAVADE CARY. Grandma was born either in 1906 or 1907. In the 1910 cencus she was 3, it said. John and Hannah {Joannah}lived in Wadena,Minnesota, where grandma stayed and raised 5 children, untill my father {the youngest}was 10 years old. Their where 2 others that said adopted Wilma May and Clifford.
