She met my adoptive parents prior to my birth and the private adoption was a done deal before I was born. Susan was also adopted. Birth father was French-Canadian, working as a longshoreman in Seattle. He was a few years older (perhaps 20 or 21). His name, according to Susan, was Ken Brittingham.
