Seeking family of an adopted child: Female adoptee DOB about 11/18/1973 possibly in or near Covina, California I was born about November 18, 1973. Birth certificate says I was born in Covina, California. After my adoption, I lived in Hesperia, CA for many years. Adopted parents said I was born at home or somewhere other than the hospital. I was adopted as Denise Stiles but believe my birth name may have been Betty Slaight. I received a blacked out copy of non-identifying info from the state which did not have the name Slaight blacked out. I believe this may be my mothers last name or maiden name.
