My mother was born in 1938 in Wisconsin. Her parents both died in 1938, the year of her birth. My birth mother had 6 older brothers and 7 older sisters. She was the youngest of 14 children. She was the only one with red hair. She was employed as a domestic in nursing homes and when she moved to the Twin Cities in the late 1950's or very early 1960's she stayed in that line of work. On February 8, 1962 my birth mother signed an affidavit requesting that I be placed in a Catholic adoptive family and on this same date she also signed a consent to the termination of her parental rights. On February 9, 1962 I was baptized in Saint Paul, Minnesota. On April 18, 1962 I was placed in my adoptive home and on May 22, 1963 my adoption was finalzed in distric court, and my name was legally changed to Christian Kenneth Breault. The attorney's name that represented my adoptive family was James F. Greenstein. My birth mother also gave birth to a daughter in Minnesota in 1960, she was also given up for adotpion through Catholic Charities. She would be my half sister. I searching for her also. In July 1961 my birth mother was accepted for service by Catholic Charities. After my birth in 1962 Catholic Charities made arrangements for my birth mother to work in the kitchen of a home for retire nuns.
