Other Info I was given the adoption forms to sign several hours after the birth. There was a nurse, social worker and Margaret Davis in the room. (After the birth, I was taken back to the labor ward).I was crying too hard too read the papers - they just told me where to sign. I wish I had read the papers so that I might be able to give more information. I suffered a placental abruption prior to going into labor and lost alot of blood - they told me the day I left the hospital that the baby was "sick" but I insisted to see him. They hadn't let me see him at all before then. I was taken to the nursery and given a beautiful baby to rock and feed a small amount of formula. After 10 minutes, they returned and told me my time was up. I was told to "go home and forget what happened". I guess that's the best information they had to give at the time. I haven't forgotten, my wish is that my birthson has a happy, joyful life surrounded by people who love him.

Other Information LDS Social Services placed me with Len and Margaret Davis in Phx, AZ. (It was my 2nd placement during pregnancy). The Davis's might know more information about the adoption than I was given. After the birth, I was briefly married (11/5/76), married name was Vicky Sandy. My social security card after my divorce, was issued incorrectly (I went back to my maiden name) - it is in the name of Vicky S Williams. All these years later, I still have never corrected it. It should be S. Vicky Williams. I was divorced 5/28/77 and gave birth to another boy on 11/17/77. I have lived in Scottsdale, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, Queen Creek, Pinetop, Lakeside and Show Low - all in AZ in the years since the adoption.

Other Information The birthfather was not really known to me. It was a first date set up by a friend. LDS Social services had investigators locate the birthfather who signed away parental rights prior to the birth in lieu of being criminally charged. LDS Social services would have much more information on him than I have.
