| I was informed after my mother had passed away in 1997 that she had given a baby boy up for adoption in 1971. She got pregnant while living in Spokane, but for some reason was brought to Seattle for the birth. The adoption was done through The Childrens Home Society of WA and she stayed in a home for unwed mothers. I feel that this wasn't fully her decision. Nobody has any other information concerning who the birth father is. I have been apprehensive in searching for my brother mainly because I didn't want to dissapoint him. His birth mother is deceased, and no family members seems to have any idea who his birth father is. Plus this information was unknown to my brothers and I until after our mom had pased away. Now however, I have an urgent need in contacting him, to inform him of a genetic medical cancer that was recently confirmed to be in our family. So apprehention has been pushed aside by my concern and he obviously needs to be informed so he can take preventative measures. Good news is you have 3 really great half siblings, 2 brothers ages 33 and 25 and one sister age 31. |
