| I was a newborn infant wrapped in a newspaper and left on a doorstep in June 1913 in lowell Massachusetts. The state allotted me a birthdate of June 15, 1913. There were no records of my birth. I was probably born at home. I have no names of anyone. I have searched before and i have also gone to lowell to the home when i was left as a foundling over 91 years ago. I have searched the archives for the town of lowell. The only trace of my existance is a newspaper article stating that i was found on that doorstep and a younger girl and older woman where seen leaving the scene. the police investigated and found no trace. I was hospitalized for many months and placed for adoption. I am 91 years old now and my days are numbered. I STILL DON'T KNOW WHEN MY REAL BIRTHDATE IS, or even my nationality. Any answers would be welcomed. I am female, white, blue eyes and light brown hair. If you or a family member can relate to this story of many years ago, please, please respond. |
