mother - Thelma Smitherman father - James Smitherman I am their first daughter - born 7/18/46 and searching for my sister. We moved back to Mississippi after this baby was born. It may have been a private adoption by an attorney and for an attorney and his wife - not sure of this. Not sure of the exact birthdate - believe it was August - could have been late July 1952.
