Don't know of any family members by the birth mother. Except a cousin of adoptee, whom we recently met, says that Clair had a daughter by someone else and she was also looking for Donald. They forgot her name. |

He was also listed in the Army. He got Honorable Discharge from both because of his eyes.
Also, his fathers states that he was born in Aberdeen SD. And his father and his step-mother (Alice Howard) lived in a small town near Aberdeen. Apparently, Alice could not have any kids, and somehow this Fritz/Fritts got pregnant by Clair, and they raised the child. Donald cousins, whom we just met, said they were told he was adopted. But when Clair was in a nursing home, that is when he wrote to him to let him know of his birth mother.
We have looked and applied for birth record in Aberdeen, SD, and there isn't any. Also, rumored that he may have born in Des Moinse, IA. |
