I was adopted on 03/03/66 but was given to the agency on 12/30/64 (two weeks after my birth). The reason it took so long is unknown I was with a foster family for a long time and have pictures of them. There were some unfounded health problems that are sited for the reason it took so long. |

My Birth mother was not from NYC but she came there to have the baby and lived in a maternity shelter while there. She was the yongest of 3 siblings and her parents divorced while she was young. Both her mother and father remarried and the mother had another child by her 2nd husband. My maternal uncles were in the military when I was born. |
