I have been told typically adoptions back then were done within the same state. In my case Iowa.
I am 5'7" tall, and have been told that I look very German in facial appearance. I am also artistic which may be a trait that my birth parent(s) had. I was born needing leg braces to straighten my legs out and wore "built-up" shoes for the first few years of life. There are two small scars on both of my ankles possibly from the braces. I have a mole in the center of my chest and a birth mark behind my left knee cap. I was born with a full head of hair and it was black. It fell out and came back in very blonde and fine. I weighed 7 pounds and (I believe) 2 ounces at birth. |
