I have no information on "before" the adoption, my birth mother or my birth father. I was lead to believe my mother was dead until 2 years ago when I found the fostercare provider that took care of me for 2 years (I dont know her name, we just called her "Sweety Pie", and resides in Los Angeles, California) which informed me at that time my birth mother was not dead. She also informed me that my birth mother was tring very hard to get me back due to the fact she didn't want me up for adoption, but due to the domestic violence within the house hold, the adoption agency thought it was best if I was adopted against her wishes. She was in the mist of getting me back when they did a "rush adoption" to get me away from her. I dont know my birth name, I dont know my birth mothers name nor my birth fathers name. I dont know anything before the age of 4 years old. The thought of finding her has cross my mind numerous times, but I always ran into a dead end due to the lack of information. I want to know my past, who I am, where I came from, and most important my medical history! I have been fighting with cancer since the age of 22, and I have a 3 years old that is sickly. I hope to make some sort of contact if for no other reason...closure. |
