I’m currently waiting on my Non-ID from NYS. Just hoping that someone who may know something sees this. Here is what I know:
Adoptive Name: Kristin Anne West
Born: 10/30/1974
Place: Highland Hospital in Beacon, NY
Adoption Handled by Patricia Tompkins of Putnam County Social Services. (Ms. Tompkins married a couple of years after my adoption, not sure of married name). The Adoption Services of Putnam Cty SS were very new at the time of my adoption - I was one of the first children to be placed.
Adopted By: John and Margaret West of Carmel, NY - adoption finalized on 6/18/75.
Ms. Tompkins gave me the name of Tulip Mallory while I was up for adoption - this is the name that was used to acquire my Social Security Number. This was NOT my Bmoms name as far as I know – the social workers favorite flowers was the tulip and her brothers fiancée was named Mallory – hence the name Tulip Mallory.
Birthmother was approximately 17 years old and still in High School - her name was possibly Cathy (Kathy, Cathie, Kathie??) Bfather wanted nothing to do with me – not a clue on his name. My Aparents kept in touch with Ms. Tompkins for a while after the adoption and were told that my BMom had another child about a year after me - we believe it was another girl.
I was born with a heart/lung defect (which has since been corrected) and one kidney that is not of normal size. I was approximately 5 lbs at birth.
I now have greenish-grey eyes and dark brown hair (eyes were blue and hair blonde as a child), fair skin (freckle very easily!), and I stand at about 5 foot 3 inches.
I am going to be married next year and I'd like to have any medical info possible before I try to have a child. I've had health issues myself and I'd like to know if they are hereditary.
