My parents, Paul & Rita Crabtree received me as a 2 month old infant on April 11, 1966 in Wheeling, WV. My birth name was Melissa, and I think my maternal biological grandmother was full Cherokee. I am very curious about family medical history. I realize that giving me up for adoption must have been a difficult decision, but I am grateful that I grew up in a family that loved me, with wonderful parents. I am now the mother of 2 delightful children, and very happily married. |
