Other Info Robertwas born in West Hartford, CT and lived in an orphanage run by Catholic Charities for four months after which time he was adopted by Catherine and Alphonse Vozza. His birth parents were apparently co-workers who secretly married and chose to keep the pregnancy a secret. His mother went away to have the baby who was given up for adoption. It appears his mother was a clerk and his father may have been a security guard. Their national origins were half-Italian/half-Polish and half-Italian/half-French. After his adoption, Robert's case worker went to check on him and described the toddler as unusually loud and happy (that description still suits him!)
