I was adopted before I was born as long as I was healthy. My adopted father arranged this with the cooperation of a lawyer and the attending doctor that was delivering me. It was a suprise for my adopted mother since she was not involved in any of the arrangements. My records are in the salt mines in Hutchinson, Ks., to the best of my knowledge since all of the above are deceased. My birth certificate shows my adopted parents as my real birth parents on my birth certificate, because in the 1950's, everthing was so hush/hush. I know that this is very complicated and no one in the family or friends have any other information to give me. I know that it is legal in the state of Ks. to look all this up, but I need someone with authority to help me look this up. My main goal is to find out my medical history, as I have two grown daughters who are starting their own families. Where do I go from here?
