My mother was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. William Fuss when she was about six weeks old. Her birth mother 16 yrs. old, grandmother, and mothers brother went to the Seattle Star newspaper to find suitable parents to adopt her, since the father was killed in the War WW1, there was no government assistance in those days, and the family could not care for my mother. The editor of the newspaper picked her adoptive parents. We cannot find a birth certificate for her, we do not know the names of her birth parents, and would appreciate any assistance. My mothers name as given by her adoptive parents is Adeline aka Adaline Louise Fuss. She is still living, and would like very much to know the answer to this question that has been plaguing her all her life Who are my biological parents? and What is my birth name? Thank you. |
