Arthur Brimicombe was born with, I think, the last name of Foley. His mother was Hannah Forbes Foley Gratto. She was married to Charles Foley, became a widow and married Fred Gratto of Truro. Emmeline and John Brimicombe adopted Arthur sometime in 1901 or 1902. Social Services of Nova Scotia has no record of this adoption. |
