Found birthmother 11/81.She wasn't VERY happy about this.Last contact 1988.Now retired & have been told they have travel trailer & move around a lot.She has 4 sons -- all are unlisted in FL phone directory.I was told 1 son was a minister but I'm not sure that is true.Married to Donald P Schmidt. (very domineering man)Don't know if he is abusive or not.She used his health condition in 1981 for the reason she could not meet me.Her brother Clifford is still alive & living in Kenosha,WI.It has been 2 yrs.since I have had any contact w/him.I believe that it is possible that Donald P Schmidt might be my father.Ione gave name of birthfather to agency incase there were any paternity issues but that info has never been shared on any documents that I have acquired. |
