My mother was born in 1917 to Maggie Regina Hovdet and put up for adoption at birth. Ms Hovdet was not married, 30 years old at the time, and her father was listed as Richard Farrington. Mom was adopted in North Dakota USA. In the 1910 US Census, Maggie Regina Hovdet was listed as living in Minnesota USA, and her home country was Norway.
