I met the birth mother, Judith (Judi) Levy while I was assigned to Stewart Field, Newburgh, NY. She became pregnant and was sent to either Kansas City, MO or KS to an unwed mother's home. She had a baby boy in 1950 or 1951 and I was the father. I do not know if she listed me as the father or not or even what name she was registered under at the home. I am 69 years old and very much want to see my son. I have had two major heart surgeries which doctors say is a genetic problem. Additionally, my father was an alcoholic and I am a recovering alcoholic with 13 years sobriety. The natural mother is living in a suburb of Houston, TX and I have seen her 2 or 3 times since the birth of the baby boy. |
