When you were born I had two daughters ages 16 months & 3 months.
As your mother & I were both adopted, I could not stand the thought of giving away part of my "own blood".
My husband didn't approve & offered no assistance.
As you can guess I had my hands full.
When it was determined that I couldn't cope with 3 babies, I had to give you back to the infant home for adoption.
Your mother, grandparents & I were heart broken.
When I sent you back you had a herniated belly-button & a black & blue on your leg where my oldest fell on you. You liked to lay on the floor & look around with your 3 month old "sister".

About your mom & me.....
Before it was fashionable, I located our natural mother & she & I have become close friends.
But as she didn't raise me, I can't call her mother.
Your mother & I have the same birth mother. My father was German & your mother's father was Polish.
Your mother & I were adopted & raised together as our "parents" wanted 2 children - preferably related.
They were very good to us.
Our natural mother has 2 sons & another daughter also named Bonita - they all live in Albion, NY.
We have a small family as it's just your mom & I now. You have a half-brother & 2 half-sisters, 2 nieces, 3 nephews, 4 1st cousins & 9 2nd cousins.
We would greatly love to know how & where you are, if you've had a happy life.
Giving you up was really the best thing we did for you. At the time & thereafter our lives were in turmoil. (Nothing illegal, just with our own relationships.)
Now that your mom & I have "grown up" we are very stable people. (Some even think we're kind of nice.)

About me:
My husband & I live in a co-op (we bought our apartment) with 2 cats & 2 birds.
I worked as a bad debt collections paralegal for a law firm. I no longer work outside the home.
We go camping every weekend in our Airstream trailer on a permanent camp site in Arcade, NY.
I have 4 kids all married.
Kathy lives in New Jersey & has 2 boys
Jill (recently widowed) lives in West Seneca, NY & has 3 daughters
Jim Jr. lives in Hamburg, NY (in the house your Mom & I grew up in)& has 2 sons
