Other Information My biological father was one of the few Jewish law students at Harvard in September of 1938, which is when I hear he met my mother, a Jewish orphaned college student from the south, studying dance. Apparantly they met at a party and "did it" because he gave her wine (Ha ha!) Somehow she wound up in New York City, lying to her grandmother, with whom she lived, that she was going to school there. She was really having the baby. She stayed during the last months of the pregnancy at the home of Dr. Sophie Kleigman Daniels, who often took young unwed mothers in, and Dr. Kleigman delivered me. I was born at Gotham Hospital. The mother apparantly said she didn't want anything to do wtih my fahter, but I don't believe it. His father, by the way, was a prominent Manhatten attorney and they had a townhouse. I wish someone had a Harvard yearbook from that time. I looked at it once when I lived in New York during the 1970's, at the main library. But I couldn't find anyone with a resemblance.
