Most of the papers (and there are quite a few) are in German. I don't speak German but they are release letters and notarizations. One of my amended birth certificates names me Claudia Schirmer. It was required that the police be notified of the name change. I have a German passport as Karen Schirmer, says my eyes were blue. |

She had another daughter, born in 1948, by another American. She was married to Mr. Behr for a year before they divorced sometime before I was born. Her religion is actually stated to have been "evangelisch". |
