Other Information I had left my abusive husband and was living in a home for welfare recipients. I was only 15 at the time of the birth and couldn't support a new born baby. I wanted him to have all the things I could not give him. The adoption was handled by An attorney by the name of Stanley K. Hatheway. I don;t know if my son was ever told that he was adopted. He was taken moments after birth and adopted within days. I would very much like to know if he is alright, and would like to meet him if he is willing.
