Ellen came home with my brother On Christmas in 1983. My brother went to sea right after they went home. The baby came sometime in late spring and Ellen gave her up for adoption. She told my brother about the baby when he returned home. I was only 16 at the time and was never told. Then several years later I was in Seattle, Wa. and I ran into her. That is when I learned of the baby girl that was given up. I tried then to get information from her but I had no luck. She avoided me and I had no way of finding her. She had changed her name from Ellen to Lexie(or so I was told)and her husband was stationed at Bremerton Naval Base,Wa. I don't want to cause any problems for you and your family, I would just like to meet or talk to you. My grandmother is 84 and her wish is to meet you before she is gone. |
